The Prairie Renaissance Cultural Alliance Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday May 4th at 7 pm in the Morris Public Library meeting room. The PRCA is our own non-profit arts organization with a store on main street established in 2002. It is a membership funded organization that provides exhibits, meeting space, art work for sale, as well as art classes for children and adults, among other things.
The PRCA Board of Directors is asking for a show of support at the annual meeting. In today’s economy, competition for grants and donations is fierce and the survival of the organization depends on contributions (not just financial) from the community. PRCA needs volunteers to keep the store open, to help with fund raising, and to serve on the Board of Directors. Artists and art appreciators are urged to come and participate in a discussion about the future of the PRCA.
