Prairie Renaissance Cultural Alliance’s annual all day Art Camp 2019 for elementary age children returns for another fun year of exploration into the world of art! Monday – Friday, 9:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Featuring: sculpture, bookmaking, sign language, silk screening , writing, music & movement and MORE!
Location: Morris Area ELEMENTARY School Fees: $150 (Early Bird Special $125) Register by July 1st for early bird discount. Need based scholarships are also available.

“Navigating the Art and Nature of Mindfulness” will be presented at Prairie Art and Gifts on June 22, 2019. Led by artist and RYT200 certified yoga instructor Kait Macheledt, the seminar will introduce the concept of mindfulness and explore the practice of arts-based meditation through abstract art creation and appreciation. In approximately 90 minutes, participants will take part in seated chair meditation, free drawing abstraction, guided meditation, and discussion. Experience with drawing, mediation, or mindfulness is NOT required.
