Currently on display: Needle and Thread

The Prairie Renaissance Cultural Alliance (PRCA) will host an exhibit from 9th January 2019 to 16th February 2019 which will illustrate the state of the needle arts as they are practiced today.  Selected works range from traditional embroidery techniques to exploratory boundary stretching art.

Our exhibit, titled Needle & Thread, is a companion exhibit to Through the Needle’s Eye, the 21st National Exhibit of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America (EGA) hosted by Stevens County Historical Society (SCHS) 14th January 2019 to 30th March 2019.

PRCA seeking volunteers to help paint the store!

Are you interested in supporting your local art gallery but not sure how? Here’s a great opportunity!

The PRCA is planning on installing a sleek new hanging system in the store section of the gallery. However, before the new hanging system goes up, we first need to remove all art from the walls, then paint all the walls a new neutral color!
We anticipate this process happening sometime between January 18 and January 31, 2019, during which the gallery will be closed. And we need some help from willing volunteers!
If you are interested in helping, please contact the gallery at
